Albert Tweedy, 55, of Sioux Falls
Albert Tweedy, Yankton SIoux Tribal member, was born September 2, 1958 in Fort Pierre, SD. He died Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at the Dougherty Hospice House in SIoux Falls.
Funeral services were 10:30 AM, Thursday, June 19, 2014 at the YST South Housing Gym in Wagner followed by cremation. Crosby-Jaeger Funeral Home in Wagner is in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by his brother, William Tweedy; sisters: Eileen Tweedy, Twyla Weber; step-father, Art Denney; numerous nieces and nephews, all of Sioux City, IA. He is also survived by his very special love of many years, Bernadette Ptterson; as well as step-children: Bill, Rhonda and Susan Patterson; three children: Sharol, April and Dallas. He also had 14 aunts who were St. Pierre's and enrolled members of the YST. He is the Godfather to Kotey Ray Flying Hawk and grandpa to Spencer, Kara, Sage, Liz and Waylon.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Bernita St. Pierre, father Marion Tweedy, sister Cindy and brother Ron.
