Memorial services will be 1:30 PM, Saturday, March 20, 2010 at the East Lake Andes Lutheran Church, rural Wagner. Inurnment is in the church cemetery. Crosby-Jaeger Funeral Home in Wagner is in charge of arrangements.

Alma M. Roberson was born December 26, 1913, near Wagner, SD, the daughter of Chris and Cora (Johnson) Anderson. She died Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at the Good Samaritan Society in Wagner.

Alma attended a country school through the eighth grade. She was united in marriage to Waldine "Walt" Roberson on March 17, 1938.

Alma was a gentle and compassionate person who loved all in her family. She had a beautiful memory for names and dates throughout her long life.

Grateful for having shared her life is one son, Owen and wife Carolyn Roberson of Owings, MD; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren; a brother, Donald Anderson of Wagner; a sister, Margaret Mamula of Wagner; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Alma was preceded in death by her husband in November of 1986, a grandson, Dane; three sisters: Esther Hall, Mary Bures and Dorothy Frederick; and five brothers: Jens, Marion and Jack Anderson, and two who died in infancy
