Alvera Stock, 65, of Yankton
Services are 10:30 AM, Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at the Crosby-Jaeger Funeral Home in Wagner. Burial is in the ZCBJ Cemetery, rural Wagner. Visitation is an hour prior to services.
Alvera Stock was born March 15, 1948 in Viborg, South Dakota, the daughter of Alvin and Grace (Mudder) Stock. She died Thursday, August 29, 2013 at the Yankton Care Center in Yankton, SD.
Alvera attended school in Armour. She later worked at the Human Services Center in Yankton for 14 years and at CR Industries for 20 years.
Alvera loved reading, crocheting, watching game shows and tv. She had a special love for cats.
Thankful for having shared her life are her three brothers: Ron and wife Norma Stock of Wagner; Russell Stock of Watertown; and Roger and wife Tammy Stock of Yankton; sister, Charlotte and husband Jeff Kuhnau of Seattle, WA; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Alvera was preceded in death by her parents in 1991; brother, Junior Stock; sister, Shiela Stock and grandparents.
