Anneatta J. Knoll, 81, of Avon

Funeral services will be 1:30 PM, Monday, January 14, 2019 at the First Baptist Church in Avon. Burial is in the Baptist Cemetery, rural Avon. Visitation will be Sunday from 5 to 6 PM with a prayer service starting at 6:00 PM at the First Baptist Church. Crosby-Jaeger Funeral Chapel in Avon is in charge of arrangements.

Anneatta J. Knoll was born August 16, 1937 at Avon, SD, the daughter of Simon and Lena (Buseman) Van Gerpen. She died Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at St. Michael's Hospital in Tyndall.
Anneatta graduated from Avon Public School in 1955. She was united in marriage to James Knoll at Avon on November 22, 1957. Together they farmed and raised their family north of Avon.
Anneatta was a member of the First Baptist Church. She will be remembered for her love for her grandchildren.
Thankful for having shared her life are her husband James of Avon, two sons: Rod (Sharla) Knoll of Florida, and Rick (Lynelle) Knoll of Avon; and three grandchildren: Ethan, Katlyn and Brooke Knoll.
Anneatta was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Dervent and Milford Van Gerpen, and sister Marjorie Buchholz.
