Audrey Faith, 80, of Wagner
Audrey died Monday, May 23, 2016 at Sanford USD Medical Center in SIoux Falls. Funeral services were 10:30 AM, Saturday, May 28, 2016 at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Marty. Wake services began Thursday at the All Tribes Fellowship Church in Wagner. Crosby-Jaeger Funeral Home in Wagner was in charge of arrangements.
Audrey Marie Faith was born to Jeanette Hallowell and Walter Comes From War in Winnebago, NE. Jeanette later married Fred Drapeau Sr., blessing Audrey with 10 siblings to love and grow with. She served in the US Air Force from 1954-1957. She was stationed in San Diego, CA and also in Offit Air Force base in Omaha, NE, where she met her husband Levi Faith. Together they had three daughters, Anna M. Faith, Lee C. Faith (Bortolussi) and Rita K. Faith. For a few years Audrey lived in North Chicago, IL while working for Abotts but in 1974, she decided to return home to South Dakota to be closer to relatives. Audrey dedicated 25 years of her life working, caring for and helping the patients of Wagner IHS. After the passing of her daughter Rita, she did not hesitate being mother to Rita's only child Jennifer. Audrey cherished her time at church, bingo and loving all of her beautiful grandchildren.
Audrey is survived by two daughters, Anna M. Faith and Lee C. Faith (Bortolussi) of Sioux City, IA; five granddaughters: Jennifer L. Fiath of Wagner, Heather Honomichl, Jeanette Faith, VOnda Faith and Jennie Kazena, all of SIoux City, IA; 12 great grandchildren: Daunte Farmer and Dustin Jr., Audrey and Jacobe Honomichl of Wagner, Alexander, Angelica and Alexandra De Leon of SIoux City, IA, Gage Grant of Wagner, August and Gabby Stockham of Sioux City, IA, Derrick and Dominick Medina of Sioux City, IA; her three sisters: Judy Pena of Wagner, SD, Linda (Bootie) Zephier of Marty and Mona (Terry) Drapeau of Lake Andes; two brothers: Fred Drapeau Jr. of Wagner and Victor (Beverly) Drapeau of Rapid City.
Audrey was preceded in death by her parents, Jeanette and Fred Drapeau Sr., her husband Levi Faith, daughter Rita K. Faith, brother Thomas Drapeau; four sisters: Roberta, Betty Mae, Marian Grace and Debbie; her father Walter COmes From War and many nieces, nepews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
