Barbara Ann Drapeau, A.K.A. Barbie Ann, was born on August 23, 1951 to Annie Antelope-Drapeau and Raymond H. Drapeau. She passed away on October 3, 2019 at Clarkston Tower Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska.
Barb worked for the Yankton Sioux Tribe and then later with the Indian Health Service-Wagner Unit for about 27 years. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Barb was well-loved by many and will be greatly missed.
A variety of things Barb loved to do were listening to her favorite country singers such as Merle Haggard, Conway Twitty, George Jones, Vince Gill and many more. Barbara loved to come home after a long day of work and watch her favorite television shows. She loved her thriller and mysterious movies! Some of her favorite television shows were Ghost Adventures, Shark Tank, Investigation Discovery, Criminal Minds and LMN movies. What she loved the most was spending time with the people she loved, always laughing and making memories. The most memorable thing about Barb is the way she always lit up every room she walked into and left everyone with a warm feeling in their heart. As time goes on, we will miss her dearly and we will never forget the love that she brought into our lives.
