Betty R. Harris, age 92, of Delmont died Saturday, September 10, 2016 at the Good Samaritan Society in Tripp. Funeral services will be Thursday, September 15, 2016 at 1:30 PM at East Lake Andes Lutheran Church, rural Lake Andes with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5 - 7 PM at Crosby-Jaeger Funeral Home, Wagner.

Betty Ruth Harris was born on November 14, 1923 to Peter and Caroline (Tindeland) Peterson in Wagner, SD. Betty was baptized July 21, 1924 at East Lake Andes Lutheran Church. Betty married Clarence Harris on June 2, 1946 at Lake Andes, SD.
Betty cleaned homes and babysat for many years. She was site manager for Delmont Senior Meals for 14 years.

Thankful for having shared in his life by her sister-in-law, Olga Peterson of Wagner; nephew, Ken (Deb) Peterson of Sturgis and two nieces, Pat Thompson of Yankton and Karen Carpenter of Rapid City. Betty is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Kenneth Peterson.
