Bonita Kazena, 48, of Sioux City, formerly of Wagner
Funeral Services were 3 PM, Friday, September 28, 2012 at the YST Community Gym in Wagner. Burial was in the Greenwood Presbyterian Cemetery, rural Greenwood. Crosby-Jaeger Funeral Home in Wagner was in charge of arrangements.
Bonita Mae Kazena was born January 9, 1964 at the Wagner IHS to Fred and Clarice (Franklin) Kazena. She died at her home in Sioux City, IA, on Sunday, September 23, 2012. She attained the age of 48 years.
Bonita recieved her education at Marty Indian School. She loved to travel. She was very outgoing and loved to visit. She also had a good sense of humor and loved to work. Bonita was also a member of the Greenwood Presbyterian Church.
Bonita is survived by her children: Lynn Kazena of Ft. Worth, Tx; Bernard Kazena of Eagle Butte; and Reyna Kazena of Wagner; seven grandchildren: Sunshine and Mykee Appel of Moville, IA; Owen K, Ava A Aja, Alarice Flying Horse of Ft. Worth, Tx; and Hendrix Kazena of Eagle Butte; brother, Craig Kazena of Wagner and sister, Bonnie Kazena of Wagner.
Bonita was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers: Bernard and Clinton.
