Brandon Gray, of Mitchell

Brandon died Monday, February 26, 2024 at the Avera Dougherty Hospice House in Sioux Falls. Funeral services will be 10:30 AM, Thursday, February 29, 2024 at the White Swan Community Center in Lake Andes. Wake services will begin Wednesday at the White Swan Community Center.

Brandon Wayne Gray "Rainbow" was born in Sioux City, IA to Norma Lynn Gray and Burton Wayne Rainbow Sr. on September 5, 1981. He went to be with the relatives above on February 26, 2024 at the Avera Dougherty Hospice House in Sioux Falls, SD. His family was by his side.

Brandon was loved by so many. He touched so many lives with his big personality, his witty sense of humor, and his love for all his people in his world. He had many relatives who he loved dearly. He was a big "mommy's boy" and always will be. Brandon had such a big heart, big smile, and he lit up every room he entered. Pretty sure he lit up heaven when he got there too. Brandon was strong in his faith his while life and even his "toils and snares" he never lost it. Brandon traveled everywhere in his lifetime and did so many things that made him who he was. He was never scared to be just that, WHO HE WAS. Brandon was so smart and after Job Corp went to college and always held a job. There wasn't anything he couldn't do. Brandon loved all his nieces and nephews dearly near and far and showed it when he was around them. He showered them with love and proved it too. What a genuine loving uncle. Brandon was an amazing son, brother, cousin, uncle, nephew, friend, and will be missed tremendously and is now bright shining "Rainbow" in the heavens.

Brandon is survived by his mother Norma Lynn Gray; brothers: Burton Wayne Rainbow Jr., Elliott Eugene Rainbow Sr., Trevor Keith Rainbow, Bryan Thomas Joseph, and Nathan Wayne Joseph; sister Elaina Gray Rainbow; and many, many, more loved ones.

He was preceded in death by his father Burton Wayne Rainbow Sr., sisters Agnes Marie (Rainbow) Drapeau and Eleah Rainbow; brother Myron Lee Rainbow Jr.; grandparents: Beatrice Gray, Faith Louise (Irving) Rainbow and Richard Thomas Rainbow Sr.; and many more loved ones.
