He attended welding school in Yankton, SD and received his welding certification in 2011. Brian loved hanging out with his cousins, nephews and friends. He was an avid and loyal Pittsburg Steelers and Miami Heat fan.

Brian was born during the Fort Randall fastpitch tournament. His father, Guy Cooke Sr., was pitching the championship game. When Butch Felix announced "Mr. Guy Cooke, you're the father of a 10 lb. bouncing baby boy!!", Guy was up to bat and hit a homerun. From the day he was born, Brian always wanted to be with the Marty Renegades.

Brian was always a big help around the house and always surprised his brothers, sister and nieces and nephews with surprise gifts. Brian always had a smile on his face and never said anything bad about anybody.
