Carol (McBride) Campos-Rodriguez, 65, of Lincoln, NE
Funeral services were 1 PM, Thursday, May 10, 2018 at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Marty. Burial was in the church cemetery. Wake services were Wednesday at the All Tribes Fellowship Church in Wagner. Crosby-Jaeger Funeral Home in Wagner was in charge of arrangements.
Carol Ann Campos-Rodriguez (McBride) was born to Joseph Andrew McBride Sr. and Ethel Crow on January 7, 1953 in Rosebud, SD. She entered the spirit world on Friday, May 4, 2018 in Lincoln, NE.
At a young age she was diagnosed with Polio. She did not let the illness hold her back. She was told she would not live a full life or ever have children. She did both of those against the odds. She attended Stewart's School of Beauty for cosmetology.
If you ever had the pleasure of talking with her, you would know she loved to tell stories of her life. She was a strong woman, even wheelchair bound she always maintained her independence.
She had a big heart and would give her last to those she loved. She was kind, caring, and compassionate. Her hobbies included sewing, cooking, and listening to her favorite music.
Grateful to have shared her life are her husband Fransisco Campos Rodriguez and her children: Lisa McBride, Fhilipa Running, Markus Running and Cornell McBride; her brothers: Roland McBride, Joe McBride Jr., George McBride; sister, Florence Hill (McBride); aunt Silvia Moore; as well as many cousins, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Carol was joined in eternity by her mom Ethel Crowe and dad Joseph McBride Sr; her children: Mindy Running, Webster Running, Autumn Running, Lori Jean McBride and Carly Jo McBride.
