Clarence Nedved, 96, of Wagner
Funeral Services will be 10:30 AM, Friday, March 2, 2018 at St. John's Catholic Church in Wagner. Burial is in St. Johns Catholic Cemetery, rural Wagner, with military honors. Visitation will be Thursday from 4 to 6 PM at the Crosby-Jaeger Funeral Home in Wagner.
Clarence W. Nedved was born August 27, 1921, the son of John and Christina (Kubal) Nedved, in Wagner, SD. He died Saturday, February 24, 2018 at the Good Samaritan Society in Wagner.
After graduating from Wagner High School and served in the US Army during WW II from 1942 to 1946.
Clarence was united in marriage to Norma Broz in Wagner on August 22, 1953. They farmed eight miles south of Wagner where he farmed on the family homestead his entire life. They moved into Wagner in 2006.
Clarence was a member of the VFW, American Legion, and the ZCBJ Lodge.
Clarence will be remembered for his enjoyment of tinkering around with bike repairs.
Thankful for having shared his life are his two nieces, Linda (Jay) Youngbluth of Wagner and Lois (Les) Sherwood of White River, great nieces and nephews: LaRae (Steve) Rogers of Delano, MN, Justin Youngbluth of Crystal, MN and Lisa Sherwood of White River; great-great nephew and niece, Jonathan and Kimberly Rogers of Delano, MN; and several cousins.
Clarence was preceded in death by his wife Norma in October of 2016, parents and a sister, Vlasta Blazek.
