Connor Noteboom, 19, of Pickstown, SD

Funeral services are 10:30 A.M., Monday, December 17, 2012 at the United Methodist Church in Wagner. Visitation will be at the church on Sunday from 5 to 7 PM, followed by a 7 PM Prayer Service. Crosby-Jaeger Funeral Home in Wagner is in charge of arrangements.

Connor John Noteboom was born on June 23, 1993 in Vermillion, SD and died on December 11, 2012 in Brookings, SD.

Connor lived the first years of his life on the USD campus in Vermillion, then moved to Brookings, SD, where he attended First Lutheran Preschool and Medary Elementary. In second grade, he moved to Wagner, SD. He graduated from Wagner High School in 2011 and was loving his time as a student at SDSU in Brookings.

Connor loved the water, whether it was skim boarding, wake boarding, surfing, or sunset bonfires on the beach with his friends. He also loved snowboarding. Music, playing guitar and performing were his passions. He was rarely seen without his guitar slung over his shoulder. He also loved writing music and being part of Caving Banks.

He was passionate about life and was known for his huge smile.

Connor is survived by his parents, Craig and Jenny Noteboom and sister Chloe, from Pickstown; his adopted brothers, Anthony Anderson and Hawk Zephier; and his adopted nephew, Hendrix Zephier; grandparents: Gene and Phyllis Noteboom from Rapid City; Mark and Kathy Hegge and a great grandmother, Terry Hegge, all of Platte, SD. He is also survived by many uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted. All proceeds will go towards South Dakota Suicide Prevention.
