Cornelia "Connie" Dresbach passed away July 9th in her Lawrence, KS home following a courageous 3 ½ year battle with breast cancer. She was surrounded by her loving extended family. Connie's main passion in life was raising her family and enjoying many loving times with her grandchildren. She had impact on the lives of many children over a 25-year period as a substitute teacher in the elementary school in Harrisburg, South Dakota. She enjoyed serving in various roles in churches in the communities where she lived in South Dakota, Georgia, and Kansas.

Connie is survived by her husband of 51 years, Steve, and their sons Jim (Patricia) and grandchildren Abby, Ben and Will of Olathe, KS, Tony (Lisa) and granddaughter Emily of Lincoln, NE, and many nieces and nephews. Connie has two sisters and two brothers: Perry (Ursula) Lundin, Ft. Worth, TX, Mary (Mel) Nygaard, Roseburg, OR, John (Ruth) Lundin, Springfield, SD, and Janice (Joe) Crea, Broomfield, CO.

Connie is preceded in death by her eldest sister, Kathryn Uken, Arvada, CO, and her parents James and Cornelia Lundin, Springfield, SD.

Funeral service for Connie will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 13, 2018 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Lawrence, KS. Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 16, 2018 at Bethlehem Lutheran Cemetery which is located on the family farm west of Springfield, SD.
