Damien Greger, 16, of Lake Andes
Wake services began Wednesday January 1 at the American Legion Hall in Wagner. Funeral Services were 1:30 PM, Friday, January 3, 2014 at the Legion Hall. Burial was in Holy Fellowship Episcopal Cemetery, rural Greenwood. Crosby-Jaeger Funeral Home in Wagner was in charge of arrangements.
Damien James Greger was born October 18, 1997 in Yankton, SD. He died Monday, December 30, 2013 at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD.
Damien was a sophomore in high school. He enjoyed spending time playing games, watching television, fishing, hanging out with friends and family, playing jokes on people, playing sports and being outdoors. He was a fan of the Dallas Cowboys and could always be found watching football during the NFL season.
Damien is survived by his parents, Todd and Larina Greger; brothers: Todd Peltier and Beau Greger; sisters: Ashley Greger, Misty Peltier, Araya Cournoyer and Kara Greger; grandma's: Stephanie Cournoyer and Juanita Antelope; aunties: Ida Greger, Stephanie Cournoyer II and Ethel Cournoyer; uncle, Leon Antelope. He also leaves behind many cousins, friends, classmates and relatives.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandpa, Tobe Greger and maternal grandpa, Larry Cournoyer.
