Dana was a bright light in the lives of all who knew her. She was known for her generous heart, always willing to help anyone in need, and for a smile that could instantly light up a room.
Above all else, Dana loved her daughter, Naomi, fiercely and without reservation. Being Naomi's mother was her greatest joy and proudest role, and her love will forever be a guiding presence in Naomi's life.
Dana loved her family more than anything in this world. Her mom, sister Evie, her grandma and papa held her heart in a way no one else could. They were her comfort, her strength, and the place she always belonged. She treasured sitting together, sharing meals, laughter, and quiet moments that didn't need words. Being their daughter, sister, and granddaughter was one of Dana's greatest joys.
Dana loved the Lord and was committed to growing her faith. She enjoyed attending church and found joy in learning about the Bible, seeking wisdom, comfort, and truth through God's Word. Her faith in Jesus shaped the way she loved others with grace, compassion, and forgiveness.
Dana also had a deep passion for creating art. Her artistic spirit reflected the same kindness, thoughtfulness, and depth that she showed in her relationships with others.
Dana will be remembered for her compassion, her faith, her creativity, and the warmth she shared so freely. Her legacy lives on in the love she gave and the countless lives she touched.
She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always.
Dana is survived by her Mom: LaDonna Frederick; Dads: Daniel Dion and Edward Lagunas; Sisters: Evelyn Frederick, Camira Picotte, Rachel Dion, Alexus Dion, Alcista (Dion) Miller, Mia Dion; Brothers: Tyler Dion and Nick Dion; Maternal Grandparents: Patrick and MaryLou Morrow; Paternal Grandparents: Bessie Dion and Robert Flying Hawk; along with her favorite uncle TJ and favorite auntie Nikkie, extended family, and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Evelyn Shields (Whiteshirt), and many other beloved relatives.
