Delores Heggemeyer, 79 of Armour
Funeral services are 1 PM, Friday, November 14, 2014 at the Crosby-Jaeger Funeral Home in Wagner with visitation an hour prior to services. Burial is in the ZCBJ Cemetery, rural Wagner.
Delores Mae Heggemeyer was born March 10, 1935 in Charles Mix County, the daughter of Albert Sr. and Bernice (Yusten) Giedd. She died Thursday, November 6, 2014 at the Golden Living Center in Armour. Delores attained the age of 79 years, seven months and 27 days.
Delores was raised in Nebraska and South Dakota. She attended school in Marty, SD. She married Norman Zoss in Luverne, MN and later divorced. She then married Gene Heggemeyer and later divorced. Delores worked at CMI Load King and at CNC Corporation as machine operator and also at Clean-Ex Cleaning Service as an assistant manager. She entered the Golden Living Center in December of 2013. Delores enjoyed fishing and traveling.
Thankful for having shared her life are her two sons, Kenneth and wife Violet Zoss of Vermillion; Craig Zoss and fiance´e Leslie McCabe of Jefferson; four grandsons: Owen, Trenton, Kayden and Colton; brother Albert Jr. and wife Sharon Giedd of Dante; four nieces and one nephew.
Delores was preceded in death by her parents and a niece.
