Devin Anthoney Goulette, (Wambidi Ska Hoksida) 24, of Wagner

Devin died on Saturday, August 12, 2017 near Greenwood, SD. Funeral services are 10 AM, Thursday, August 17, 2017 at the YST South Housing Gym in Wagner. Burial is in the Holy Faith Cemetery in Santee, NE. Wake services will begin at 7 PM on Tuesday and Wednesday at the gym in Wagner. Crosby-Jaeger Funeral Home in Wagner is in charge of arrangements.

Devin was born to Stefanie Goulette on May 16, 1993 and step-father Brad DuPris Sr.  Big Brother to Lucas, Bronc & Tonnie. Devin attended elementary school at Wagner School until moving to Pine Ridge, SD in 2007.  Devin attended and graduated from Red Cloud High School in May 2011. Devin attended United Tribes Technical College in the fall of 2011. He left college shortly after he was blessed with the arrival of his daughter Audrina Skye Goulette.

Devin enjoyed his job at S & K Truck Wash & Repair where he worked with Steve & Casey Fousek for 4 and a half years. There Devin made a lot of close friends that became like brothers to him, Shadoe, Derek, & Colton.

Devin was always happy and respectful with a big smile and had a calming personality. Devin had a great love for horses and genuinely loved riding horses. He participated in the 1862 Memorial Horse Ride annually in Santee, Nebraska to honor his ancestors.  Devin enjoyed his hunting and fishing trips with his Papa Big Bob and grandpa Jerry Trudell.  Devin loved to play basketball and loved competing at Lakota Nation Invitational while attending Red Cloud.  Devin also ran X-Country for Red Cloud and made it to State in 2011.  He received a scholarship to Dickenson State University in Dickenson, North Dakota for X-Country.

Devin was a die hard Chicago Bulls fan that loved to play 2K on the X-Box with his family & friends. When he was a child, he would play "Ditch and Hide" with his cousins who all looked up to him as a big brother. He was an avid Cribbage card player that enjoyed "kicking" everyone who wanted to play him.

Audrina Skye was Devins whole world. Devin worked hard to give her the world. He loved their long walks at the Wagner Lake with their German Shepherds Zoe and Jack. He made sure to attend all of her school functions and activities. He read to her every night before bed and made sure to watch her favorite you-tube videos. He began teaching her to ride horse as they both loved riding horses.
