Dianne Naatz, 45, of Wagner
There will be a visitation from 4 to 6 followed by a Memorial Service at 6 PM, Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at the Wagner Lake Rotary Shelter in Wagner. A gathering at Doggers will follow the Memorial Service. Inurnment and graveside services will take place at a later date in the Evergreen Cemetery in Johnson Creek, WI. Crosby-Jaeger Funeral Home in Wagner is in charge of arrangements.
Dianne Lynn Naatz was born March 29, 1972 at Ft. Atkinson, WI, the daughter of of Wayne H. and Jean (Zimmerman) Naatz. She died unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at her home in Wagner, SD. Dianne attained the age of 45 years, two months and 16 days.
Dianne graduated from Jefferson High School in Jefferson, WI in 1990. She was a member of the J Club, band and choir. She earned her BA degree from University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in 1995. She was a member of the UW-Whitewater softball team.
Dianne was the manager of the Wagner Lakeside Motel at the time of her passing. She also was a bartender at Doggers Garage Bar. Prior to moving to Wagner in August of 2015 she lived in Prairie du Chien, WI.
Dianne will be remembered for her love of playing softball, fishing, hunting and watching old westerns. She enjoyed bartending and meeting all of the people who stopped by. Dianne was a member of the Wagner Pink Ladies dart league and always helped where and when she could with fundraising events. She had a kind heart and was always willing to help anyone in need.
Thankful for having shared her life are her mother, Jean (Naatz) Schmidt of Juneau, WI; two brothers: Wayne K. and Nancy Naatz of Lake Mills, WI, and Steven and Jody (Naatz) of Watertown, WI; sister Judy and Paddi Naatz of Wagner, SD; nephews: Sean and Erin Naatz, Cory Naatz and Zackary Naatz; niece, Taylor Naatz; great nephew Avery Naatz; grandmother Delores Zimmerman; best friend and beloved four-legged son Trigger; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Dianne was preceded in death by her father Wayne H. Naatz, who referred to Dianne as "daddy's little girl"; grandmother Evelyn Naatz; and grandfathers, Harold Naatz and LeRoy Zimmerman.
