Dominic Fischer, 28, of rural Marty

Dominic died Wednesday, December 17, 2014 in rural Wagner. Wake services began Saturday at the White Swan Community Center in Lake Andes. Funeral Services are 2 PM, Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at the White Swan Community Center in Lake Andes followed by burial in the Dark Horse Cemetery, rural Marty. Crosby-Jaeger Funeral Hoe in Wagner is in charge of arrangements.

Dominic James Fischer was born February 22, 1986 in Yankton, SD to Anthony Fischer, Sr. and Frances Thunder Horse.

Dominic was raised on the Yankton Sioux Reservation and attended Marty Indian School. He enjoyed playing pool, listening to music and lifting weights. He loved to fish and go hunting with his Dad and brother Tony. He was the tracker of the three and knew where all the monster bucks were.

Dominic had love for the game of basketball and always had good sportsmanship. He had an awesome sense of humor and a powerful laugh.

Dominic has five children: Rico, Kayo, Tate´win, Braxton and stepdaughter Clarysia (whom he nicknamed Thunda). He loved them dearly. He loved all his family and was always there when we needed him. Dominic is a "Warrior", these past few years Dominic showed strength and perseverance; he was a true survivor. "Father Dom" was loved and will be missed by many.

Left to mourn are his mother, Frances Thunder Horse; brothers Bearhand Fischer, Sr. and Tony Fischer, Jr; sisters: Winona Angel, Roseann Wade, Andrea Fischer, Wicahpi Omani Win and Solana Fischer; his companion Lindsey Cooke and children. He also leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his beloved father Anthony Fischer, Sr.
