Donald M. Williams, 82 of Sioux Falls
Donald died Monday, June 27, 2016 at Sanford Hospital in Sioux Fall. His funeral service will be 11:00 am Thursday, June 30, 2016 at the National Guard Armory in Wagner, with burial in the Cedar Presbyterian Church Cemetery, rural Pickstown, with military honors. Wake services will be held at the Armory, with Crosby-Jaeger Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
Donald was born in Greenwood, SD on May 4, 1934 to James WIlliams and Mary Smith-Williams. TO this marriage Don had 3 brothers Kenneth Williams, Norval Williams, Harvey Williams and one sister, Vivian WIlliams-Stansbury (all deceased). Don joined the Army in 1953 where he served in the Korean War until he became disabled and then received an honorable discharged in 1955. Don lived in SIoux Falls where he remained close to his children and grandchildren.
Don was preceded in death by his parents, James and Mary and children, Harvey Sr., Albert, Renee, Marshella; Nieces, Mary and Delores; Grandsons, Donald, Everett, and son-in-law, Benjamin.
Don is survived by his children Anna (Everett Sr.), Donald Jr., Sarah (Faron Sr.) all of Sioux Falls; Virginia (Juan) of Clarion, IA; Frank, Melvin, Fredericka (Micah) of Sioux Falls and lots of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
