Funeral services will be 10:30 AM, Saturday, May 29, 2010 at the United Methodist Church in Wagner. Burial is in the ZCBJ Cemetery, rural Wagner. Visitation will be Friday from 4:30 PM until 7 PM, followed by a prayer service at 7 PM at the Crosby-Jaeger Funeral Home in Wagner.

Eleanor Mae "Norie" Lippolt was born September 20, 1925 south of Wagner, SD, the daughter of Gustaf and Lydia (Heidie) Stock. She died Wednesday, May 26, 2010 at the Golden Living Center in Armour, SD.

Norie attended school through the eighth grade at Greenwood, SD. She married Paul Ramsdell in 1942. Two children were born to their union. She later married Elmer Lippolt at Hartington, NE. Together they farmed and Elmer helped raise the two children. Elmer died in 1981.

Norie loved the outdoors, gardening, canning, sewing, crocheting and embroidery work. She had a great love for her grandchildren and great grandchildren. In her younger years, Norie sang with her sister, Arlene on WNAX for a period of time.

Norie was a member of the United Methodist Church in Wagner.

Thankful for having shared her life are her son, Wayne and wife Wilma Ramsdell of Sioux City, IA, daughter, Judy and husband Don Lhotak of Wagner; five grandchildren: Tammy Ramsdell, Cherie Ramsdell, Mike Lhotak, Steve Lhotak and JoEllen Baker; eight great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Norie was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two sisters: Clara Reinschmidt and Arlene Ramsdell; two brothers: Walter and Theodore Stock; and a special nephew, Jr. Stock.
