Elliot Philip Holzbauer

Elliot Philip Holzbauer was born at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD on September 4th, 2026 at 4:04 pm to Steven and Tricia (Hofeldt) Holzbauer. He weighed 4 lbs, 15 oz and was 20 inches long.

Elliot knew only love in his first few minutes of life and he received the sacrament of Baptism before returning to God's loving arms.

The name Elliot was chosen because of the meaning (The Lord is my God). His middle name comes from his great grandfather, Philip Benjamin McCollam.

Elliot was preceded in death by his infant cousins: Lennox Lapsley and Sammy Holzbauer; uncle, Chase Novotny; and great grandparents: Roxanna and Philip McCollam, JoAnn and Lee Hofeldt, Bernadette and Ivo Kathol, Ida and Lawrence Holzbauer.

Elliot is survived by his parents, Steven and Tricia; brother, Lincoln; grandparents: Gary and Janice Holzbauer, Rodney Todd and Gwenith Hofeldt; aunts and uncles: Stacy (John) Whyte, Benjamin (Nicole) Holzbauer, David (Michelle) Holzbauer, John (Stacy) Holzbauer, Katie (Josh) Sauter, Brittany (John) Leibel, Jenece (Josh) Carda, Matthew (Haley McPherson) Walker, Jordan (Colby) Fletcher, Misti (Luke) Lapsley, and Michael (Jill) Hofeldt; and his loving cousins.

Private family services are being held. Burial is in St. John's Catholic Cemetery in Wagner.
