Ethelyn Alexis Antelope, 63, of Wagner

Ethelyn died Monday, November 24, 2014 at the Community Memorial Hospital in Wagner. Wake services were Wednesday at the American Legion Hall in Wagner and continue each night at 7 PM. Funeral services were 2 PM, Saturday, November 29, 2014 at the Greenwood Presbyterian Church in Greenwood. Burial was in the church cemetery, rural Greenwood. Crosby-Jaeger Funeral Home in Wagner was in charge of arrangements.

Ethelyn A. Zephier Antelope was born to Moses and Zelma Zephier on April 25, 1951. She went to school in many areas including Greenwood, Marty, Ravinia and Wagner. Later she relocated to Madera, CA where she went to high school. After her first child she went to job corps in McKinny, TX. Following school she had three more children, Theron, Jody and Christel and later adopted another child Sage. During this time Ethelyn had several jobs at the Wagner Headstart Program, IHS Hospital and the casino.

In 1994 she married Edward Antelope, now deceased. The rest of her days were spent with her family and her grandchildren. She loved to play cards, bingo, slot machines, video lottery and watching TV game shows.

She leaves to mourn: three sons; Theron, Jody and Sage; one daughter Christel; two brothers: Althebert (Booty) and Jerry: one sister Claudette and many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her son Terry, husband Eddie, paternal grandparents; Justy and Angelique, parents; Moses and Zelma, three sisters; Leatrice, Cleo and Sherry, three nieces; Roma, Jolene and Jody and many other relatives.
