Evelyn Knoll, 90, of Avon
Visitation will be from 1 to 2:30 PM on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at the Crosby-Jaeger Funeral Chapel in Avon. Burial will be in the Trinity Presbyterian Cemetery, rural Avon.
Evelyn Marie Knoll was born November 6, 1927 at Avon, SD, the daughter of Wayne and Viola (Deurmier) Pelton. She died Monday November 13, 2017 at the Good Samaritan Society in Tyndall.
Evelyn graduated from Avon High School. She married Edgar "Curly" Knoll on June 7, 1945. She has one daughter, Shirley, and three sons, Terry, Bob and Bill. Evelyn lived 12 years after her husband Curly passed in 2005.
Evelyn loved working at Mensch's Greenhouse and part-time at Gambles store.
Evelyn liked music and dancing. She will be remembered for her love for her kids and grandkids. They are all going to miss her.
Thankful for having shared her life are her daughter Shirley and husband Larry Schuh of Vermillion; three sons: Terry and wife Judy of Cedar Falls, IA, Bob and wife Judy and and Bill and wife Cheryl, all of Avon; five grandchildren; one great grandchild; three sisters; and one brother.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband; an infant son, Jerry; parents; and three brothers.
