Faron Doney, 48, of Wagner
Faron died Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls. Wake services are Friday at the American Legion Hall in Wagner. Funeral services are 1 PM, Saturday, July 25, 2020 at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Marty. Burial is in the Holy Fellowship Episcopal Cemetery, rural Greenwood.
Faron Anthony Doney was born in Wagner, SD on November 2, 1971, to Ronald Doney and Jeanie Archambeau. He died Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls.
Faron was raised in Aberdeen and attended high school in Sioux City, IA. He attended Western Dakota Technical school and later moved back home in the 90's. Faron was known for his kindness, always had a smile, and his laughter.
Faron has three sons that he raised: Jacob, Eric and Justin. He enjoyed caring for them, they mean the world to him and he is so proud of them. He enjoyed being around family and friends, he stayed close to the people he loved. He loved music, laughing and joking around, cooking and playing card games.
He will always be known for being the type of guy who would lend you his last dollar and give the shirt off his back. He was quiet, well-mannered and respectful to all.
He was preceded in death by his father Ronald Doney, infant sister, Erica Azure; his grandparents Chuck and Ramona Archambeau and Eugene and Ester Doney; and uncle Clarence Sonny Archambeau.
He is survived by his sons: Eric Doney of Aberdeen, Jake Doney of Aberdeen and Justin Doney of Sioux Falls; mother Jeanie Archambeau of Wagner; sister Leah Azure of Bemidji, MN and Ina Fox of Havre, MT; brothers: Dave Azure of Aberdeen and Mark Azure of Aberdeen.
Faron had four grandchildren: Apollo Doney of Lake Andes, Trey Franklin of Aberdeen, and Roman and Gabriel Campbell of Watertown.
