Gail Hall, 61, of Wagner
Memorial services are 11 AM Friday, August 15, 2014 at the East Lake Andes Lutheran Church, rural Armour with visitation an hour prior to services at the church. Inurnment is in the church cemetery. Crosby-Jaeger Funeral Home in Wagner is in charge of arrangements.
Gail A. Hall was born July 16, 1953 in Cortez, Colorado, the daughter of Charles and Alice (Koepke) Schlesinger. She passed away Sunday, August 10, 2014 at the Good Samaritan Society in Wagner under hospice care after a long battle with cancer.
Gail graduated from Custer High School in Custer, SD in 1971. She attended USD from 1971 to 1975.
Gail was united in marriage to Derol Hall on August 20, 1976 in Lake Andes. Two children, Justin and Heather, were born to their union.
Gail worked at Head Start and as a business aide in Lake Andes. She later worked at the Lake Andes Health Care Center, Andes Central Elementary as a tutor, the Wagner Food Center and for the past 19 years at Alco in Wagner, until illness forced her to retire.
Gail was a member of Jobe's Daughters and the East Lake Andes Lutheran Church.
Gail will be remembered for her enjoyment of reading, crossword puzzles, listening to 50's and 60's music and going to concerts.
Thankful for having shared her life are her husband Derol of Wagner; son Justin (Danielle) Hall of Tea; daughter Heather (Brad) Bartscher of Mitchell; five grandchildren: Kaci, Brady, Kim, Shayla and Parker Hall; sister Linda (Bernie) Osberg of Hermosa, SD; brothers-in-law, Neil (Doris) Hall of Corsica and Dale (Marcia) Hall of Wagner; and several nieces and nephews.
Gail was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Alice Schlesinger, and her maternal and paternal grandparents.
