Grace Rados, 90, of Wagner
Funeral services are 1:30 PM, Saturday, January 8, 2011 at the United Methodist Church in Wagner. Burial is in the ZCBJ Cemetery, rural Wagner. Visitation will be Friday from 2 until 7 PM, with the family present from 5 to 7 PM, at the Crosby-Jaeger Funeral Home in Wagner.
Grace Rados was born September 23, 1920 in rural Dante, SD, the daughter of Ed and Belle (Jones) Kuca. She died Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at the Community Memorial Hospital in Wagner. Grace attained the age of 90 years, three months and 13 days.
Grace received her education at Lone Tree #5. She graduated from Wagner High School and Southern State Teachers College at Springfield. She taught in the rural schools near Dante.
Grace married Joseph Rados at Hartington, NE in 1939. Together they farmed for almost 50 years until Joseph's death in 1985. She then retired and moved into Wagner in 1986.
Grace was a member of the United Methodist Church, Morning Circle and the United Methodist Women.
Grace will be remembered for her love of farm life and gardening.
Thankful for having shared her life are her daughter, Jo Anne and husband Richard Ishmael of Gallup, NM; two sons: Allen of Yankton and Clayton and friend Kathy of Dante; three grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Grace was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph; parents; four sisters: Olive Buus; Wilma Hennies; Edith Goodoein; and Alice Duncanson; and a brother, Richard Kuca.
