Gregory L. Barr, 52 of Wagner
His funeral service was 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 27, 2014 at the White Swan Community Center in Lake Andes. Burial was in the Lake View Cemetery, rural Lake Andes.
Greg was born in Council Bluff, IA, the son of Gayle and Anita (Archambeau) Barr. He died unexpectedly at his home in Wagner on Friday, January 24, 2014.
Greg loved to fish and spend time with cousins, uncles and many friends, who will miss stopping by for a laugh or two.
Greg worked at the Fort Randall Casino for many years as a security guard. He also graduated from Universal Trade School in Omaha, NE. He worked in many restaurants while in high school so he was a very good cook and loved all different foods and cook outs.
Greg is survived by his wife, Roberta, sons, Nicolas and Christopher; brother, Randy (Dixie); parents, Gayle and Anita Barr; aunties: Gayla Archambeau, Miki Archambeau, Shirley Gaston and Cecilia Fay; uncles: Homer Archambeau, Jr., Daniel Archambeau Sr.; Wendell Archambeau Sr., Elgin Mace Sr. and many dar cousins and friends.
