Gwen Nohr, 84, of Littleton, CO

Gwen J. (Cork) Nohr was born August 22, 1929 in Wagner, SD to Floyd and Olive Cork. She passed away on Sunday, March 8, 2014 at her home in Littleton, Colorado.

Funeral services will be 1:30 PM, Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at the United Methodist Church in Wagner. Burial is in the ZCBJ Cemetery, rural Wagner. Visitation with the family present will be Tuesday from 4 to 7 PM at the Crosby-Jaeger Funeral Home in Wagner.

She attended Wagner Community School, graduating in 1947.

Gwen married Peter Nohr on January 31, 1948, who preceded her in death on March 8, 1975. Five children were blessed to this union. Gwen was the manager of the Wagner VFW, Post 7319 for a number of years, before moving to Littleton in 1969. She was employed by Burt Chevrolet Inc., and retired in 2002.

Thankful for sharing her life are her children, Patricia (Ron) VanPatten, Rapid City, Neil (Diana) San Leandro, CA, Peter, Colorado Springs, Co, Dan (Shelly) Littleton, Co, Jeffrey (Chrissy) Manitou Springs, Co; her sister Shirley, Rapid City, SD; brother-in-law, Bert Cozad, Wagner; 11 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Gwen was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Clare, and five sisters: Opel, Cecille, Margaret, Avon and Irma Jean.
