Reiser
October 11, 1982 – September 26, 2020
Haley D. Reiser, 37, of Hays Dr. Carlsbad, New Mexico passed away on September 26, 2020. Haley was born on October 11, 1982, in Wagner, South Dakota to Charles and Rita Kocer.
Cremation has taken place, and a memorial service was held on Monday, October 5, 2020, at First United Methodist Church. Pastor Braden Ryan and Pastor Jimmy Ryan officiated. Haley is remembered for her selflessness, her sense of humor, and her ability to lift up anyone who needed it. Her greatest passion in life was caring for others. It became abundantly clear early in her life as a child, she did all she could to help raise her siblings. She then carried that passion into her professions, as a caregiver for the elderly, a daycare provider, a special education assistant, and a high school cheerleading coach. But where she displayed the most passion was in her immeasurable love for her three sons. Nothing in the world meant more to her. Her life and her influence will be with all of us for the rest of our lives.
Haley was preceded in death by her father, Charles Kocer; paternal grandparents, Romaine and Helen Kocer; maternal grandmother, Delphine Wurtz.
Haley is survived by her three sons: Brayden Reiser, Cole Reiser, and Jase Reiser all of Carlsbad, NM; mother, Rita Kocer of Sioux Falls, SD; brother, Charles Kocer, Jr. of Wagner, SD; brother, Cassius Kocer and wife, Cassie of Valley Springs, SD; sister, Kathryn Kocer of Sioux Falls, SD; brother, Michael Kocer of Sioux Falls, SD; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
