Horace Daniel Gentry, Jr., 90, of Mountain Home, AR

Horace died Wednesday, March 6, 2024 in Mountain Home, AR. Funeral services will be 2 PM, Saturday, March 16, 2024 at the United Church of Christ in Springfield, SD. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service at the church. Burial will be in the Bon Homme Cemetery, rural Springfield with military honors.

Horace Daniel Gentry, Jr. passed away March 6, 2024, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 90. He was born July 5, 1933 in Rome, Mississippi, the son of Horace and Emma Weldon Gentry.  He married Carol Fender on June 16, 1994 in Springfield South Dakota. He worked as a Plant Manager for Reynolds Aluminum.  Horace was a U.S. veteran of the Army serving in the Korean War. Horace lived in Mountain Home since moving from Oklahoma in 2000. He enjoyed fishing, camping, playing golf, and flipping houses.

Horace is survived by his wife Carol Gentry of Mountain Home, AR and a large loving family.
