Ina (Schultz) Kuhlman, 95, passed away on August 28, 2023, in Rapid City, SD.

Ina, born in Wagner, SD on March 20, 1928, was raised along with her brother, Bertie Schultz, by grandparents, Charles and Leota Schultz. She graduated from Wagner High School in 1947 and was immediately employed by Northwestern Bell Telephone as an operator. She held that position for thirteen years.

Ina married Darrell Kuhlman, September 21, 1948. One daughter, Deborah, was born on September 30, 1952. They lived in many places but settled in Arizona in 1961. In 2013, Ina moved to Rapid City to be closer to family.

Ina was a wonderful seamstress and made many of her clothes. She also used her talent to make doll clothes for her daughter and nieces. Ina liked to play cards with her friends especially Blitz and the domino game Mexican Train.

Ina is survived by her brother, Bertie of Wall, SD; her sister-in-law, Joan and husband Ed Novak of Rapid City, SD; two nieces, Robbie Novak and Sheri and husband Todd Bartunek, both of Rapid City, SD; one nephew, Brad Novak and wife Pam of West Burke, VT.

Ina was preceded in death by her husband, Darrell; her daughter, Deborah; her mother, Doris Jones; mother and father-in-law, Carrie and Louis Kulman as well as her grandparents.

Ina's final resting place will be in the ZCBJ Cemetery, Wagner, SD. It was Ina's wish that no services will be held.
