James Alan Fischer, 22, of Lake Andes

James died Tuesday, April 26, 2016 in rural Wagner, the result of an automobile accident. Funeral services are 11 AM, Saturday April 30, 2016 at the White Swan Community Center in Lake Andes. Burial is in St. Phillip's Episcopal Cemetery, Lake Andes. Wake services began Wednesday at the White Swan Community Center in Lake Andes. Crosby-Jaeger Funeral Home in Wagner is in charge of arrangements.

James Alan Fischer was born October 18, 1993 in Yankton, SD to proud parents Kenneth Sr. & Melerine Fischer. James entered the Spirit World on April 26,2016 at 7:45pm.

He attended school at Marty Indian School. Afterwards, James moved to West Virginia where he worked carpentry and roofing. He later came back to Lake Andes, SD to reside with his mother, Melerine. Occasionally he would stay with other siblings in Mitchell, SD where he worked at Perkins Restaurant as a cook.

James Alan's nickname growing up was "BROTHER". He enjoyed cruising, jamming music, hanging out with childhood "homies", and loved hanging out with his brothers. In his words, "He enjoyed living his life in the fast lane & to the fullest."

He leaves behind his mother, whom he loved UNCONDITIONALLY, Melerine Fischer; 5 brothers, Kenneth Fischer, Jr., Frank Fischer Sr., Albert Fischer and Heath Stricker; 11 sisters, Venus Cooke, Mona Kay, Dorthia Henry, Kathi Henry, Kristina Fischer, Victoria Fischer, Colleen Fischer, Helen Fischer, Lynette CCW, Dolly CCW and Crystal Stricker.

Preceding him in death his loving father, Kenneth Fischer, Sr; 4 brothers, Tony Fischer, Sr., Ron Fischer, Sr., Dakota Ray Fischer and Ron Fischer; numerous uncles, aunts, nephews and cousins.

He will be dearly and unconditionally missed and will always be remembered for his HUMOR, LAUGHTER and SMILES.
