Wake services began Wednesday at the Marty Indian School Gym. Funeral services were 1 PM, Friday, July 7, 2017 at the gym. Burial was in St. Paul's Catholic Cemetery in Marty. Crosby-Jaeger Funeral Home in Wagner was in charge of arrangements.
James Eric Gullikson was born on May 21, 1999 to Elizabeth Gullikson and Carl Iron Shooter III in San Francisco, CA. He entered into the Spirit World on July 4, 2017 at the Community Memorial Hospital in Wagner. He attained the age of 18 years and 44 days. James attended Marty Indian School since Head start.
James will be remembered for his outgoing and friendly, positive manner. He had a big heart and always showed his love. He made sure everyone was happy, putting them before himself. He was an outstanding young man who always had a smile for you, a handshake, or a hug.
James enjoyed playing basketball, watching the "Miami Heat" play, playing video games and hanging out with his friends. He loved free styling, listening to music and "battling" with his friends in the dorm. He was very protective of his friends and family.
James is survived by his mother Elizabeth Gullikson, stepfather Jerome Rouse, Sr.; brothers: Tyler Gullikson, Cade Gullikson, Sage Zephier, Jerome Rouse Jr., Jowi Rouse; sisters: Raven Zephier, Sakura Rouse and Imara Rouse; Aunt Kellie Gullikson; cousins: Ashley Gullikson, Kyle Gullikson, Ryan Little, Robert Cooke, Nicole Cooke, and Emily Gullikson; and his special friends, Bellah Benson and Angelina Jandreau; and family and friends too numerous to mention.
He was preceded in death by his father, Carl Iron Shooter III, maternal grandparents: Linda (Hare) & ELmo Gullikson, Jr.; great grandparents: Bertha (Brown Bear) & Henrey Hare Sr. Agnes (Hart) & Elmo Gullikson Sr.; cousins Cody Gullikson and Randi Lynn Gullikson.
