Jeremy Standing Cloud, 39, of Wagner
Funeral services were 11 AM, Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at the YST Marty Community Center Gym in Marty. Burial was in the Holy Fellowship Episcopal Cemetery in Greenwood. Wake services began Sunday at the Community Center in Marty. Peters Funeral Home in Wagner was in charge of arrangements.
Jeremy Wade Standing Cloud was born April 20, 1981 to Anita (Bruguier) Packard and Theodore Standing Cloud. Jeremy made his journey to the spirit world on Friday, December 4, 2020 at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD.
Jeremy leaves behind his children: son Bryon Standing Cloud, daughter Makayla Standing Cloud whom blessed her dad with his first born grandson Leonard James born October 22, 2020 but due to COVID19 he was unable to meet him from Pine Ridge, SD, sons Marques and Bryan Standing Cloud and daughter Treyah Sitting Bear from Mission, SD; siblings: Arthur Standing Cloud, Bryon Standing Cloud, Michelle Patterson, Todd Standing Cloud, Maria Standing Cloud, Sarah Packard and John Packard, Jr.
Jeremy is preceded in death by his mother Anita (Bruguier) Packard, baby sister Anita Standing Cloud and baby brother Melvin Standing Cloud.
Jeremy lived his life in Marty where he attended Marty Indian School and graduated in 1999. He loved sports and excelled at basketball, softball, golf, bowling, horseshoes and darts.
Jeremy had health problems that he was dealing with when he was hospitalized and left this world. Jeremy shared his love with Samantha Sully whom was by his side through his health battles up until the end of his fight with COVID19, which unfortunately took his life.
Jeremy was loved by all who met him. Some of you knew him as Jeremy, some of you knew him as Sweets, family knew him as Levi, some knew him by the infamous $weet$ and to the boys they called each other Squirrel.
Jeremy will be greatly missed by all. Also he had a special little friend, Tysan Peters, who faithfully visited him on daily basis until COVID19 and wasn't able to visit Jeremy in the end.
