Jeron Picotte-Honomichl, 14, of Yankton
Wake services began Tuesday and will continue Wednesday and Thursday at 7 PM each night, at the YST South Housing Gym in Wagner. Funeral services are 10:30 AM, Friday, March 11, 2016 at the Gym. Burial is in the Holy Fellowship Episcopal Cemetery, rural Greenwood. Crosby-Jaeger Funeral Home in Wagner is in charge of arrangements.
Jeron Xander Picotte Honomichl was born to DeVonna Picotte and Larry Honomichl on May 8, 2001 at Yankton, SD. He died Saturday, March 5, 2016 at Avera Sacred Heart Hospital in Yankton.
From birth, he was a very active baby that soon grew into a very active, outgoing fun-loving and respectful young man.
Jeron attended Wagner Community School, Mitchell Elementary School and was presently enrolled in Yankton High School. Jeron enjoyed football, soccer and loved to play basketball. He also enjoyed playing video games and snap chatting. Jeron was a brilliant young man that brought a smile to everyone he met during his young life. Jeron's big beautiful hazel eyes were so full of life. Jeron had a contagious laugh that will be missed tremendously by many.
Jeron loved going with Auntie Monica on many adventures. Some of the adventures include going to the Sundance, Windy City Adventures, Powwows and swimming with a caiman alligator in Lake Michigan. Last summer he was willing and wanted to go with them to Sturgis. Jeron had a smile and eyes that could brighten any room or any mood.
He is survived by his parents DeVonna and Larry; brothers: Royal, Simon, Leland, Tyler, Larrin, Cade, Lucas, Keanu, Louis, Sage and Theron Jr.; sisters: Patience, Raven, Lisa, Brittany, Lacey, LoLali, Lanessa and Lainey; grandparents: Carol, Birdie (Herman), Irene, Marilynn, Patricia (Bob) Michelle, Julia and Butch and families; aunties: Monica (Cory) Rebecca, LaVetta (Shaun), LaDawn, Christel, Denna (Dee), Pearline, Nizhon, Agnes, Linda, Judy, Veronica, Ann, Charlene and Elizabeth and families; uncles: Orlando, Levi, Jody, Arthur Jr., Kenny, Mickey, Arnlold, Rod and Gene and families; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Jeron was preceded in death by his grandmothers: Lydia, Katherine, Agnes and Ethel; grandfathers, Sterling Sr. and Arthur Sr.; uncles: Ricky, Francis and Brent; Aunt Sissy and his other dad Theron "Ralph" Sr., along with many other relatives.
