John J. Buus (Johnny Joe), 68, of Watertown, formerly of Wagner
Funeral Mass will be 10:30 AM, Monday, January 16, 2017 at St. John Catholic Church in Wagner. Burial is in the parish cemetery, rural Wagner. Visitation will be the hour prior to services at the church on Monday. Crosby-Jaeger Funeral Home in Wagner is in charge of arrangements.
John J. "Johnny Joe" Buus was born July 21, 1948 at Wagner, SD, the son of Chris "Casey" and Christina "Tina" (Kocer) Buus. He died Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at Prairie Lakes Hospital in Watertown.
John had been a resident of the Redfield Care Center from the time he was four years old until 1981. He moved to New Horizons in Watertown and had lived there since 1981.
Thankful for having shared his life are his two sisters, Norma Halbur of Blaine, MN, Karen Crick of Sioux Falls, and several nieces and nephews.
John was preceded in death by his parents Chris "Casey" Buus and Christina "Tina" Buus, niece Amy Halbur, and brother-in-law Jim Crick.
