Karen Mueller, 34, of Mitchell
Karen died Sunday, December 30, 2007 at her home in Mitchell, SD, of natural causes. Funeral services will be 11 AM, Thursday, January 3, 2008 at the Crosby-Jaeger Funeral Home in Wagner. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4 PM until 7 PM at the Crosby-Jaeger Funeral Home in Wagner. Burial is in the ZCBJ Cemetery, rural Wagner.
Karen Mueller was born August 6,1973 at Lebanon, Oregon, the daughter of Jerry and Shirley (Fuchs) Simms. She died Sunday, December 30, 2007 at her home in Mitchell, SD, of natural causes. Karen attained the age of 34 years, four months and 24 days.
Karen lived in Lebanon, OR until moving to Pierre in 1979. She moved back to Lebanon in August of 1989. She graduated from Lebanon High School in 1992. She attended Job Corps in Portland, OR. Karen moved back to South Dakota in 1996. She worked at I-90 and Cenex.
Karen married Stanley Mueller on July 22,1999 in Pierre. They lived in Pierre, Mitchell, Yankton and Gayville.
Karen will be remembered for her love of sewing, embroidering, and reading. She also loved kids and visiting.
Thankful for having shared her life are her husband, Stanley Mueller of Mitchell; parents, Jerry and Shirley Simms of Mitchell; sister, Amy Simms of Pierre; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Karen was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Emil and Lorraine Fuchs; paternal grandparents, JJ and Vidis Simms; father-in-law, Harold Mueller; two uncles: Lyle Simms and Gail Simms; and aunt, Barb Schulz and a cousin, Lori Curtis.
