Katherine Fern Eddy, 70, of Greenwood

Katherine died Saturday, April 27, 2024 at her home in Greenwood, SD. Family will be having private services for her.

Katherine was born in Wagner, SD to Wilford Kazena and Irene Henry. She was the youngest of their 4 children Loretta, Kenneth, and Doyle. Her father remarried where she got a little brother Even "Corky."

Katherine graduated with high honors from St. Paul's High School in Marty, SD on May 18, 1973.

She worked as a bookkeeper for the Yankton Sioux Tribe, a nurse's aide at the Lake Andes Nursing Home, and then as a housekeeper at the Fort Randall Casino and Hotel.

She had Doyle "Hoksina," William, and Jared. After marrying Robert Eddy on February 2, 1990, they had Alicia.

Katherine was preceded in death by her parents; siblings: Loretta, Doyle, and Evans "Corky"; son Doyle "Hoksina"; and grandson Louie.

She is survived by her brother Kenneth; children: William, Jared, and Alicia; many grandchildren; and one great-grandchild Jaelynn.
