Keith Nace, 58, of Sioux Falls

Memorial Services will be 10:30 AM, Thursday, July 5, 2018 at St. John's Catholic Church in Wagner. Inurnment is in St. John's Catholic Cemetery, rural Wagner.

Keith Daniel Nace passed away unexpectedly, from a stroke, June 29th, 2018 at the Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls. Keith was born in Denver, Colorado to Willard Nace and Audrey (Kirkeby) Nace on July 14th, 1959. He was the baby of 4 children.
Keith attended Barnum Elementary, Rischel Junior High, and West High all in Denver. He was part of the ROTC during his school years. His first job was with Rio Grande Motor Way, working with trains and railways. He then moved to Chino, California where he did miscellaneous work. He moved to Plankinton, SD in 1980. He did roofing and house painting. He met his future wife, Joleen Andersh, in Mitchell. They wed September 1, 1984. The young couple were blessed with 3 children, Miranda Flugge, Cory Nace, and Christopher Nace. Keith then went back to school at Mitchell Tech, where he excelled in the culinary program. He worked for the Moose and Elk Lodges. He later had a job at Holiday Inn's restaurant, Brandy's. He worked as one of the head chef's. He had a work accident and was disabled from it. Keith and Joleen moved to Sioux Falls in 2011 to live with family. He lost his beloved wife to cancer in 2016. They had 31 years of wedded bliss.
Keith had a love from childhood of the Denver Broncos, building model cars, spending time with family and his beloved dog, Koti. At the end of his precious life, he gave the greatest gift of life. He was an organ donor.
Keith is survived by his daughter Miranda (Phillip) Flugge of Sioux Falls; sons, Cory Nace and Chris Nace, both of Sioux Falls; sisters Carole Nace of Mitchell, and Kathleene Hagen of Flordia; nieces, nephews, friends and furry grandchildren.
Keith was preceded in death by his wife Joleen Nace; his maternal and paternal grandparents; parents Willard and Audrey Nace; brother Roger Gettler; brother-in-law Kenny Boyd.
