Kenneth Axel Lundberg, the son of Axel and Frances (Hrdlicka) Lundberg, was born October 28, 1927 in Armour, SD. His childhood years were spent on a farm in rural Armour, SD where he received his education, graduating from Armour High School in 1945.

Ken was a WWII veteran having served his country in the US Navy from 1945 to 1948. While stationed in New York harbor, Ken met and married Patricia Marron on October 30, 1948. Following their marriage they moved to Plankinton, SD and Ken broke horses and worked the farm ground with Mr. Spencer, his employer while Pat cared for their home.   Later, he farmed in rural Armour, SD.  He had a special way with people and he could sell a product he believed in.  While he was still farming, he also sold Occo Feed. In 1976 he started working for Kocer Implement in the parts department and moved into the sales department. In 1984, Ken began working for Van Der Werff Implement where he remained employed until 2009.

If you had the opportunity to share a meal or a cup of coffee with Ken, you were treated to a warm handshake, and big smile, and possibly a story or two.  His family remained his focus throughout his life.

He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, his parents and his sister.

Left to cherish his life are his wife, Patricia and his son Steve of Armour, SD; his daughter Lisa and son-in-law Mike Dvorak of Curlew, IA, his grandchildren Chelle, Tyler, Natashia, Megan, and Ashley, his great-grandchildren Teagan, Jayden Jo, Danielle, Alissia, and Gabrielle, other relatives and numerous friends.
