Kenneth Perry, 54, of Wagner

Kenneth died Thursday, December 19, 2013 at Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center in Milwaukee, WI. Services are 10 AM, Friday, December 27, 2013 at Holy Sprit Episcopal Church in Wagner. Wake services will be Thursday at the church. Crosby-Jaeger Funeral Home in Wagner is in charge of arrangements.

Kenneth Wayne Perry, 54, of Wagner entered into eternal rest Wednesday, December 18th at 9pm in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Kenneth was hospitalized at Aurora St. Luke's Medical center while awaiting a liver transplant when his condition worsened. He was on life support for five days before he passed away.

Funeral services will be held Friday, December 27th at Holy Spirit Episcopal Church with Reverend Patricia Whitehorse officiating. A wake will be held on Thursday, December 26th. There will not be a committal service.

Kenneth was born in Houston, Texas on July 12, 1959 to Marcus and June Perry. He attended elementary and high school in Texas until he began working with his father and his brothers in the drilling rig industry at Martin Oil & Gas. When his family left Houston to move to Pearland, Texas, he began working for Brown & Root Oil Company. It was there that he gained his knowledge about the oil drilling industry and operating and maintaining heavy equipment.

Kenneth served as an altar boy along side his brothers at the Church of The Good Shepard in Houston. He moved to Wagner, South Dakota in 1982 along with his family to help care for his maternal grandparents, Sampson and Catherine Ree. Kenneth was employed at Wagner Building and Supply for a number of years. He was also self employed as an auto mechanic. Kenneth was known for always helping out his friends and family whenever they needed something done.

Kenneth leaves behind to mourn his six children: Christopher Perry, Mandy Perry, Cheyenne Perry, Kenny, Jennifer, and Randall Zephier; six brothers: Robert Perry of Manhattan Beach, California; Gale Perry of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; three sisters: Kim Decoteau of Flandreau, South Dakota; Elizabeth Perry of Wagner, South Dakota; Katherine Tolth of Albuquerque, New Mexico; and his nephews and nieces in Texas; grandchildren: Kraven, Alysia, Doreen, Maria, Eden and Sota.

He is preceded in death his paternal grandparents, Antonio and Minnie Mae Gonzalez; maternal grandparents, Sampson and Catherine Ree; parents, Marcus and June Perry; and his daughter, Natasha Marie Perry.

Kenneth's ashes will be returned to Pearland Texas to be buried along side his paternal grandparents.
