Landon Martin, 11, of Wagner

Funeral Services are 10 AM, Thursday, March 23, 2017 at the United Methodist Church in Wagner, with burial in the ZCBJ Cemetery, rural Wagner. Visitation is Wednesday from 4 to 7 PM at the Crosby-Jaeger Funeral Home in Wagner. Crosby-Jaeger Funeral Home of Wagner is in charge of the arrangements.

Landon Scott Martin, son of Colleen Martin, was born June 9, 2005 at Winner, SD. He died of an accident on Sunday, March 19, 2017. Landon attained the age of 11 years, nine months and 11 days.

Landon was baptized by Pastor Phil Lint at the United Methodist Church in Wagner. He was a sixth grader at Wagner Community School. He loved school and was a very bright young man.

Landon will be remembered for his love of football, hunting, fishing and football cards. He loved working cattle with his Grandpa Butch, fishing with his "Grandpa" Bernie, hunting with his "Uncle" Joe and horseback riding Tripper while in Nebraska.

Thankful for having shared his life are his Mom, Colleen Martin and fiance' Jason Swanson; three sisters: Jaycee, Lyrik and Hannah; aunts and uncles: Scott and Tammy Martin and family and Cory and Wendy Martin and family, all of Rapid City; Megan and Brian Linn and family of Pierre; Cody and Jennifer Martin and family of Ethan; and Calvin and Abbey Martin and family of Wagner; maternal Grandpa, Butch Martin of Wagner; special "Nan", Patty Nyffler of Wagner; "Grandpa" Bernie Zwinckle of Wellfleet, NE; "Uncle" Joe Zwickle of Omaha, NE; paternal Grandpa, Donn Paulson of Colome; paternal Grandma, Julie Berens of Wellfleet, NE; maternal Great Grandpa, Dale Martin of Mitchell; maternal Great Grandparents: Albert and Sharon Giedd of Dante; and paternal Great Grandma, Rose Paulson of Colome; and birth father, Grant Berens of Colome.

Landon was preceded in death by his maternal Grandma, Debbie Gill; Great Grandma, Frances Martin; Great Grandpa, Cliff Paulson; and uncle Jason Wynia.
