Larry Allen Weddell Sr. was born to Hazel Gullikson Weddell and Benjamin Weddell Sr.

He was the seventh of fifteen children. Larry grew up on the Ihanktowan Reservation. He went to school at Marty as a child. He was named Tuh'mag'a (Bee) by his grandparents.

At a young age he became fascinated with billiards and learned impressive skills on the pool table.

Larry only had one marriage, to Winona Sully. The couple had Monica, Tracy and Larry Jr. After this union, Larry had other children:  Matthew Todd, Savanna-Rae, Ryan and Kaleb. Larry also had a long standing relationship with Georgiana Zephier and together they had Dacotah Skye and Aiden.  Larry loved Georgiana's children:  Warren McBride, Valentino Zephier, Angelo Zephier and Audrey Zephier and considered them his own.

He answered the call as a warrior for the Ihanktowan Nation with his brother Jim, Mark Winckler and Jim Stone.  They stood with his AIM Brothers at Wounded Knee of 1973. He was a founding member of the United Red Brotherhood, well loved by many and always considered a very close friend.

Most notably, Larry was a legendary billiard champion. He won tournaments all over the United States. Stories told of him often included nights at the pool table.

He will be dearly missed by his close friend, Georgiana, his children and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren; sisters: Dorothy "Hop", Shirley, Marilyn "Merc", Margaret, Eva, Rose and Carole; brothers:  William "Sam", Rodney and Michael; along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Welcoming him on his journey are his mother, father, siblings:  Betty "Noonie", Benjamin "Sonny", Mary and Jim; granddaughter, Tatiana Weddell Nuño.
