Levi is an enrolled member of the Ihanktonwan Oyate. He is a descendent of spiritual, holy, traditional Ihanktonwan and Isanti lineage from the Warrior Societies, and descendent of Struck by the Ree. Levi will be remembered for his hunting and gathering skills. He prepared all our traditional foods like the ancestors. He created all of our sacred relics we use in our ceremonies. He made drums of all types. He composed sacred prayer songs for various occasions. He loved singing with the Hilltop singers. He was a respectful strong sundancer. He believed in all the good ways toward Creator. We will miss Levi as he journeys to the center of the universe with all of the aways he carries, believing in our sacred canupa.
