Lila Daily, 61, of Wagner

Lila died Saturday, December 6, 2008 at Sanford Medical Center in Sioux Falls. Funeral services are 1:30 PM, Wednesday, December 10, 2008 at St. John Lutheran Church in Wagner. Burial is in the East Lake Andes Lutheran Cemetery, rural Wagner. Visitation is Tuesday from 1 PM until 7 PM with the family present from 6 to 7PM and will continue Wednesday from 9 AM until noon at the Crosby-Jaeger Funeral Home in Wagner.



Lila Nanette Daily was born November 17, 1947 at Wagner, South Dakota, the daughter of Lyle and Edna (Johnson) Daily. She died Saturday, December 6, 2008 at Sanford Medical Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Lila attained the age of 61 years and 19 days.

Lila graduated from Wagner High School in 1966 and attended beauty school at Nettleton College. She worked at Emmy's Cafe, Ellen's Drive In, was a past manager of the VFW and worked at the Mane Event Beauty Salon.

Lila was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Wagner.

Lila will be remembered for her love of Bingo, playing cards with friends, collecting cook books, cooking and listening to music.

Thankful for having shared her life are her brother, Bud and wife Evelyn Daily of Wagner and their family; sister, Marilyn and husband Eddie Zylstra of Wagner and their family; and several nieces and nephews and many friends.

Lila was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters: Donna Youngbluth and Carol Simon.
