Lillian Kezena-Weston, 67, of Wagner
Lillian died Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at her home in Wagner under hospice care. Funeral Services were 10:30 AM, Thursday, March 2, 2017 at the American Legion Hall in Wagner. Visitation was Wednesday with Wake Services at 7 PM at the Legion Hall. Burial was in the Presbyterian Cemetery in Greenwood. Crosby-Jaeger Funeral Home in Wagner was in charge of arrangements.
Lillian Agnes Kezena was born December 1, 1949 to Fred Clinton Sr. and Alice Marie (Gullikson) Kezena. She also was known to everyone as Lil or Lilly Bell and grew up in Greenwood with 8 sisters and 9 brothers.
Lil attended school in Greenwood and in May of 1967 she graduated with honors from Flandreau Indian School in Flandreau, SD.
Lil leaves to mourn her children: Charles Laverne Kezena, Sr. and family of Redwood Falls, MN, Kimberly A. Hare and family of Brownsville, TX, Darren Cournoyer and family and Sharol Cournoyer and fmily of Wagner; also like her own are Troy Huapapi and family of Greenwood, Curtis Huapapi and family of Sioux Falls, Michelle Primeaux and family of Wagner, Loren Kezena and family; her sisters: Eunice Joseph and family of Wagner, Colleen Lightfoot and family of Red Rock, OK, Estelle Redlightning and family of Marty; her brothers: William "Butch" Kazena Sr. and family of Ft. Totten, ND and Robert Kazena and family of Wagner.
Meeting Lil in the Spirit World are her parents Alic and Fred Kezena Sr., her brothers: Edgar, Richard, Fred Jr., Leonard, Jesse and Loren Kazena Sr.; her sisters: Violet Pendleton, Dorothy Patterson, Gertrude Johnson and Georgia Ann Merrick.
