Loretta Primeaux, 81, of Marty

Loretta died Saturday, January 31, 2015 at her home in rural Marty. Wake services were at her home on Sunday, February 1, 2015 and began Monday at the White Swan Community Center in Lake Andes. Funeral Services were 1:30 PM Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at the Community Center. Burial was in the Native American Church Cemetery, rural Wagner. Crosby-Jaeger Funeral Home in Wagner was in charge of arrangements. She was born December 14, 1933 at Wagner, SD.

Loretta Rainbow Primeaux lived eighty-one years and in her life she had eleven accomplishments which were her children. These accomplishments she shared with Asa Primeaux Sr. They are Edith Fool Bull, Sonny "Gordon", Jolene, Marsha (deceased), Michael (deceased) Sylvia (Mato), Tina Standing Cloud and Jennifer. With these accomplishments they gave her thirty-eight grandchildren and twenty-four great grandchildren. Throughout her years she also adopted several sons.
She was a well respected water woman through the Native American Church. She carried herself with pride and respect. She took care of her prayers. She showed and raised her children and grandchildren through the NAC and the traditional ways.
