Louis Dale Hare, Sr. entered this world on September 9, 1946 born to Leafia P. Drapeau and Wesley Bud Hare, Sr. He attended St. Paul Marty Mission School along-side his siblings.
He spent most his years being a protector of his younger brother Allen Hare, playing real life Cowboys and Indians. He attended Wacipi to dance and sing. He was raised Catholic but was forever proud of Allen for carrying Rising Hail's traditional values.
Louis graduated from Flandreau High School and then attended Culinary Arts of Chicago. He spent 20 years as Marty shop security.
Louis loved his Marty Braves and it was always his mission to see them play. He would be in the front row shouting "Let's Go Braves!" When his grandchildren: Lainey, Lonnie, Riley, Louis, Lanessa and Xavier played he would be seen there cheering them on with all his Marty Braves spirit. He never missed a home game.
Louis would rise bright and early with the sun to walk the roads of his village. He kept a watchful eye outside his home on all who passed by.
On January 26, 2022 Lou danced into the Happy Hunting Ground by his Ina Leafia, Ate Bud, his close friend Larry Louis and many more who made the journey before him. He was preceded in death by his children: Louis Dale Jr. aka "Tubby", Lonnie, Jeremy and Leslie who are there to hold their father's hand as he enters his home; nieces, nephews, grandsons, grand daughters and all other beloved greet him.
Continuing on his legacy are his sons: Lance and Layton; daughters: LaVonne, Loretta, Laura and Lujuanda;
LaVonne: Leland, Larrin, Lucas, Louis, Lisa, Lacey, Lanessa and Lainey

Louis was loved by all his relatives; nieces, nephews, grandchildren and many friends of the family that can be honored in his tribute.
You will be missed Grandpa Lou but always in our hearts. We love you Grandpa. Now you can be with your pretty blue eyed babygirl "Quit Crying Around"!
